FREETOWN – A representative from Milla Group and Jolaks Manufacture presented 600 rubber chairs, 150 tables and 150 Padi Vegetable cooking oil to members of parliament.

Rajesh Hemnani informed journalists that he wants to introduce their products to the people of Sierra Leone

He said that this is the first time they are donating such items to members of parliament and that they also want to sell their products outside the country.

He said that they started donating items to the St John Primary School because they want the pupils to know about their products such as Padi Mayonnaise, Butter, soap, Spaghetti, as part of their corporate social responsibility in the country.

He thanked the Government of Sierra Leone for allowing investors to invest in the country as their products are locally made, noting that they produce Paddi Vegetable cooking Oil, Mayonnaise, while Jolaks are manufacturing Padi Laundry Soap and others.

That they have provided government with Milla Hand Washing Tanks in the fight against COVID 19 in the country as part of their contribution in the fight against this pandemic.

He explained that Milla Group started operation in 2001 and they are manufacturing the following rubber pipes, buckets, shopping bags, plates, tanks and others.

Chairman Person for Trade Committee Hon Veronica K. Sesay said Milla Group and Jolaks are the Manufacturer of these products

Leader of Government Business Hon Mathew Nyuma thanked Milla Group & Jolaks for providing this items

Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hon Sengepoh Solomon Thomas thanked the companies for their wonderful gestures to parliament.
