FREETOWN – As a means of introducing its brand to the kids, Sierra Leone finest Satellite Station, DStv Sierra Leone has launched the 2020 Festive Season by hosting Festive Kids Party.
The Festive Kids Party took place at the Freetown Amusement Park on Saturday 28th November, 2020.
This amazing experience which saw the launch of DStv 2020 festive season was graced by kids from all walks of life.
In her statement, DStv Sierra Leone Head of Operations and Marketing, Melissa Smith said the DStv Sierra Leone Festive Campaign is a means of selling out their contents to the kids.
She said most parents do not know how important the kids channels are for their kids, as some of the parents concentrate on their own movies and at times involve their kinds in news which though good was better for the kids to know what is in stock for them in the DStv package.
We are here today to try to sell out the kids content as kids know about cartons and their characters. We have resolved that the kids know more on what DStv give out in terms of content. These channels will make the kids upgrade their English speaking as we have educative channels in this package.
“We are here to celebrate with you and DStv wants to tell you also that you are also partnering with DStv which is why we have this event for you.”
Mrs. Smith disclosed that DStv has over 10 channels for kids depending on the package the parents purchase.
She said if parents want the full package they have to choose the Premium package.
She emphasized that the least package have over three kids channels.
She disclosed further that DStv has educative channels that teaches the kids different subject.
Those channels she added have question and answer sessions which the parent can set for the kids when they deem it fit for the kids to practice.
“We want the kids to know while they are at home that they can be entertained with DStv kids channels.”
Some of the kids described the day as a joyous one for them.
“DStv brightened my weekend. My friends and I are happy for the gesture given to us” said Richard one of the kids at the event.
The kids spent more time painting their faces, taking photo shoot with your various characters and dancing.
