It was not a mistake for Africell to sponsor the event, one of the participants told this medium. The GLS Event Manager Donald Theo-Harding praised Africell for what he described as their selflessness in providing 2GB for each participant. He said were it not for their intervention many youths would have been left out of this very important leadership training. Ordinarily people would pay to take part in such a training but with the support of africell and bearing in mind the trend of things in recent times especially the economic crunch of the Covid19 the organisers decided to let the student take part in the training free of cost.
