The stakeholders and the residents of the Krootown Road Community have reorganized themselves to take part in the COFA Inter-Community champion’s league with one mind.

The present Team Manager Ibrahim Sorie and the former Team Manager Bobor Barrie were not in talking terms as such Bobor Barrie who also used to help the community financially decided to stay back.
This year before their first game, the Women in the community rallied in the community from house to house, calling for peace and unity to prevail.
The women succeeded to bring the two managers and their followers together and agreed to give full support to the team. The disunity caused the slowdown of signing players and buying supporters and team jerseys for this year.
Going for their first match tomorrow Thursday July 28, they claimed they will be going there with full support with a very strong team to face Kissy.
The community have signed a pool of star players which includes Kwami Quee, Talibeh from India, Gass FC Kallon, George and many more. They have also appointed Victor Cole to be their head coach for the team.
Krootown Road Community team ‘Krootown Rangers’ falls in group F together with New England Ville, Dwazark Farm and Kissy community.
Among the four communities in the various groups the two top communities in each group will qualify to the next stage of the competition. Krootown Road has won the COFA league twice back to back and they want to return back as champion this year. Ibrahim Sorie told Salone Times Sports during their rally this past Saturday that they are back as one family to lift the champion trophy.
