FREETOWN, Sept. 18 (232News) — A Call To Business (ACTB) Savings and Loans bank has rewarded five customers with valuable prizes in the second monthly draw of its Save & Win Promotion, reinforcing its drive to encourage consistent saving among customers.

The prizes were presented on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at ACTB’s headquarters in Brookfields, Freetown.

Among the winners was Mohammed Kargbo of the Waterloo Branch, who received a Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. Bai Maro Kamara of the Eastern Branch won a 32-inch smart television, while Alie Ibrahim Sesay of the Freetown Central Branch took home a Bluetooth speaker.

Moses Kamara of Kono won a microwave, while Kassim Koroma was awarded a chest freezer.
Speaking at the ceremony, ACTB Chief Operating Officer Idrissa Sesay said the promotion was introduced to encourage customers to cultivate a strong savings culture while creating opportunities for them to benefit from monthly prizes.

He explained that customers who save Le10,000 receive one entry into the monthly draw, with larger savings amounts earning additional chances to win.
ACTB Chief Executive Officer David Kamara congratulated the winners and said the promotion was also a celebration of the discipline and consistency demonstrated by customers.

“We are celebrating our winners and also those who are watching us online. Today, we celebrate discipline in saving, courage and, above all, the trust that has encouraged our customers to save with us,” Kamara said.

He described trust as a key foundation of the relationship between ACTB and its customers and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to the promotion.

“It is with great pleasure that we continue this promotion every month until December, when we will wrap it up. Just trust us; we are committed to delivering on our promotions,” he added.

Kamara further disclosed that ACTB will continue awarding prizes every month, with the grand prize vehicle expected to be handed over in December.

He also assured winners who were unable to attend the ceremony that their prizes would be kept safely until they could collect them.

The winners expressed appreciation to ACTB for rewarding customers through the promotion.
Bai Maro Kamara, winner of the 32-inch smart television, said he was initially unable to believe that he had won.
“I was so excited. At first, I could not believe it,” he said.

Kamara, who said he has been saving with ACTB for more than five years, expressed his intention to continue his relationship with the institution.
“I have been with ACTB for over five years, and I will continue to save with you guys,” he said.
He added that his ultimate ambition is to win the promotion’s grand prize vehicle.
For Alie Ibrahim Sesay, the Bluetooth speaker he won came at a particularly useful time.
“We are in need of the speaker because we will be having our naming ceremony,” he said.
Sesay encouraged members of the public to participate in the Save & Win Promotion, describing it as a genuine initiative that rewards customers for saving.
Meanwhile, Kassim Koroma, winner of the chest freezer, was represented at the ceremony by Mohamed Bai Kamara, who expressed gratitude on his behalf.
With the monthly draws set to continue until December, ACTB says the promotion is intended to motivate customers to save consistently while giving them opportunities to benefit from the institution’s rewards programme.
