FREETOWN, Aug 25 (SALONE TIMES) –Following the decision of the Government of Sierra Leone to ramp up vaccination, the Chief Executive Officer of ECOFEST, Lawyer Abubakarr Turay has called on fans of the entertainment industry to get vaccinated.
“Greetings everyone. Glad to announce that NACOVERC’s Ten (10) Days massive vaccination program dubbed CORONA VACCINATION SURGE ONE (1) from the 23RD AUGUST to the 1ST of SEPTEMBER 2021,” he informed his fans
He encouraged all fans of KME, ECOFEST and entertainment industry lovers who are yet to take their vaccines to please do so now.
“Remember it is only those who are alive that can attend music festivals. It is only those who are in good health that will be able to attend concerts. Safety first!” he stated.
He pointed out that the vaccines are safe and they have been scientifically proven to be very good in the fight against COVID-19, noting that America has administered about 200 million doses, UK has administered close to 90 million doses.
He revealed that Sierra Leone’s COVID Institution, NACOVERC is now calling on all those above the ages of 18 years who are yet to take their vaccines to please do so now.
“We wholeheartedly support this move. God has helped us by keeping us alive even in the midst of this deadly pandemic. It’s time to help ourselves by taking the vaccine and adhering to all COVID-19 safety protocols,” he said.
