FREETOWN, Jan. 27 (232news.com) – One of Sierra Leone finest five stars hotels, Golden Tulip Essential Kimbima Hotel along with Sunshine Caterers hosted one of Indians biggest festival the Diwali Festival (Diwali Dil Waalon Ki).

The Diwali Festival which takes the form of dinner took place at the prestigious Kimbima Terrace of Golden Tulip Hotel on the 21st November 2021 in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Diwali is a festival of Lights and is one of the major festivals celebrated by the Indians back home and across the globe. The Chief Guests of the Event were Honourable High Commissioner of India to Sierra Leone – Mr. Rakesh K. Arora and spouse.

The event was attended by more than 350 Indians living in Sierra Leone. The event comprised of Dance Performances, Fashion Show and Lucky Draw. The guests enjoyed an array of sumptuous Indian delicacies in the form of a Buffet.

The General Manager of Golden Tulip Essential Kimbima Hotel – Mr. Rahul Ranjan Chaturvedi expressed his happiness in hosting such events as it brings the Indian Community together who are living away from home.

 He also commented that the Hotel would be looking forward to host more of similar events in future.

The Managing Director of Sunshine Caterers (Co Organizers of the Event) – Mrs. Harwinder Kaur (Mrs. Shina) was quite satisfied with the turn out of the Guests and showed her willingness to have a long-term partnership with the Hotel in respect of organizing such Cultural Events.
