FREETOWN, Apr. 26 (SALONE TIMES) –Newcomers Special Line CC has emerged as the league leaders in the ongoing SLCA division1 league. The newcomers have played 6 matches, won five and lost one. Special Line has 10 points in 6 matches played with a Net Run Rate of 2.492. According to the league organizers the two top clubs in the league will be promoted to the premier league. As it is now Special Line with just one more match to play has already qualified for the SLCA premier league. Besides the qualification Special Line is sure of winning the league base on the remaining match they have to play. Wanderers are second in the league table with 8 points in 6 matches played with one match more to play. Another newcomer Hastings CC is in 3rd position with 6 points in six matches played. Murray Town CC has played 5 matches and loos all five matches with no point at hand. In their last match played the league leaders Special line defeated Shalimar CC by 27 runs. Special Line batted first and scored 101 runs loss of 5 wickets in 15.0 overs. Shalimar replied with 74 runs loss of 8 wickets in 15.0 overs.
