FREETOWN, Apr. 26 (232news.com) – The African Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire on Friday 22nd April, 2022 held a press conference at their board room in order to unveil the date the reality TV show, Housemates Season 3, will start.
During his statement, the Executive Chairman, Board of Directors – AYV Media Empire, Dr Ezekiel Duramany – Lakkoh stated that this year’s reality TV show is geared towards showcasing Sierra Leone to the world by bringing in creative contents to match up with International standards.
He said that this year’s show will commence on the 22nd of May 2022 and it will be filled with glitz and glamour.
Dr. Duramany-Lakkoh said categorically that it is a MUST for all 60 contestants to be physically present on the start of the show (May 22, 2022).
However, he cautioned that there is no guarantee that contestants from the Diaspora travelling to Sierra Leone for the Show, will be selected to enter the House, emphasizing that travelling to Sierra Leone on or before May 22 is at the contestants own discretion.
Dr. Lakkoh disclosed the new sponsors for the show which are: A Call To Business (ACTB), Frontline Chicken, Chicken Town, Esme’s Luxury Beddings, Kolat Bricks and Zarlux Car. They also have three international partners.
He also revealed that a brand new car will be given to the winner of the Zarlux Car Rental task that will be performed by the Housemates in the House and that the Winner of the show will take home Le250,000,000 (Two hundred & fifty million Leones plus a trip to Dubai.
Abdul Aziz Kamara, Head of Events and sponsorship said this season 3 is going to be big. He said Africell/AYV are committed to make people both local & international to be part of the voting process. He went on to say a new online voting platform and brand new website have been established for international voters across the world to vote using credit or debit cards, visiting https://housematessl.com and/or visit: https://www.africell.sl. Abdul Aziz said Africell will continue to create the platform for everyone to enjoy the show.
He said people can still continue to vote locally with Afrimoney through your Africell line by dialing *161*10#* plus the NUMBER of their favourite contestant from any Africell line.
One of the Sponsors, the Chief Executive Officer of A Call To Business (ACTB), David Kamara thanked the organizers of Housemates Salone for giving them the opportunity to be part of the show. This is the first time that ACTB Savings and Loans Limited as taken up the venture to sponsor a reality show and they are excited. He said the sponsorship with AYV and Africell is a great move and will provide a platform for them to reach out & connect with people both nationally and internationally.
He assured that the organizers will do all on their part to ensure that the show turns out to be successful
AYV’s Director of Commercials, Marketing & Brands, Mr Daniel Moore spoke on the branding and marketing strategy of the show. He assured quality production of the show. He said it is no secret that AYV Television is the best television station in Sierra Leone when it comes to coverage, super high definition video and picture quality, informing that the show, once it commences will be shown live on AYV Entertainment Channel 34, 33 and AYV on DSTV Channel 399.
