FREETOWN, July 25 (232news.com) – The Chief Executive Officer for the Africa Young Voices Empire (AYV) Ambassador Anthony Navo (Jr) last Sunday, the 18thJuly anounced Fifty Thousand United States Dollar (USD 50,000) cash prize for the Housemate Salone season four.

The CEO made this announcement at the final night of the Housemate Season three where roommate number thirty-five, Juliana Conteh popularly known as Julie Tombo was pronounced winner of the Housemate Salone season three, with forty-four percent of the vote cast.

The Housemate Salone reality television show which was designed by AYV for the empowerment of young people four years ago has staged three successful seasons and hosted twenty-two housemates for this year. The finale was well attended by some state dignitaries, heads of cooperate institutions, members of the fourth estate and the First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone Madam Fatima Jabbie Bio as the special guest.

Giving his keynote speech, Ambassador Navo started by sending his sincere gratitude to their sponsors, partners, and the First Lady madam Fatima Bio for her continued support, stating that she has been there with AYV since season one, two and three.

He also thanked the Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament Honorable Sidi Tunis, acknowledging his quiet patronage towards the show. Ambassador Navo said the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs has been very collaborative with the AYV for which they appreciate the current Minister, Madam Memunatu Pratt who was also in attendance.

The CEO pointed out that what people see in the Housemate show is not all his ideas but the efforts of other well-meaning Sierra Leoneans who have been in partnership with the AYV. He said it is with the help of Cribs International own by Sho Cole, Africell, the Kabaka Multimedia Entertainment (KME) Asmaa James of Radio Democracy and others that enable AYV to put out an outstanding show as the Housemate Salone season three. He also called on citizens to imbibe the attitude of collaboration and work hand in glove for the development of Sierra Leone.

Ambassador Navo concluded that this year’s Housemate was a success so for that everything that people saw in the season three is going to be doubled in the season four. “As a matter fact the winner for the Housemate Salone season four will receive the cash prize of fifty thousand dollars” Ambassador Navo maintained.

Speaking as one of the special guests, the First Lady Madam Fatima Bio thanked AYV for the improvement on the show. She marked that to dream is one thing but to dream and act pupon the dream makes oneself special; “Ambassador Navo is a special person,” she noted. Madam Fatima also said that the AYV boss is her brother and for that she will always support his vision, more so when Navo’s vision is one that can change a country positively and its one that is making Sierra Leone beautiful outside.

She also expressed her gratitude to all the partners of the Housemate Salone and called on the sponsors for the season three to double whatsoever that they did with Season Four.

She promised that if the sponsors do as she has asked, she will do all in her power to make the President of Republic of Sierra Leone, His Excellency President Maada Bio witnessed the next final.

Making her parting statement, Madam Fatima, stated that, teamwork is the secret for the success of every project. Therefore, she thanked her Hands Off Our Girls Campaign Ambassador Navo, AYV, Africell and the other partners for supporting.

She called on citizens to support whosoever that is the winner of the Housemate Salone season three, because that individual will not be representing other countries but Sierra Leone.
