Afrimoney has extended it Lelemu Special Promotion a means for one to send money to any afrimoney subscriber or pay for goods to vendors for Free.
This was disclosed during a press conference held at Africell Headquarters, Wilberforce, Freetown, this past Thursday 12th January 2023. The promotion was designed for December 2022 but because of the care of afrimoney they decided to extend it till February 2023.
Theresa Jane Wright, afrimoney Marketing Supervisor in her welcome address to guests described the ceremony as a special ground breaking Lelemu special event.
Martinson Obeng-Agyei, Director of afrimoney said December is a celebration month with different activities such as giving money to love ones.
He pointed out that in December 2022 afrimoney noticed that lot of customers enjoyed the December Lelemu for 30 days but when it they want to end it, customers raise concern about the end of the promotion and that it was as a result of that they have a rethink to extend it.
January, Obeng-Agyei went on to say is a stiff month but when afrimoney said they love you they have to do that when things are hard.
“We don’t want to lose you and we don’t want you to lose us, that is why we are extending it to February 2023,” he said.
He further stated that Afrimoney has their customers at heart and that they think about them in good and hard times.
He disclosed that customers can send afrimoney as many times as they can Free of charge till the end of February.
“For the agent, we are giving them 50% cash in commission on what a customer sends,” he said.
He cautioned that the use of cash is not the best and safest thing to do these days.
“We love you and we are giving you your money back and give you free airtime. If you don’t have afrimoney you can Dial *161# don’t wait till February ending, do it now,” he called.
Dennis Duah Awuah, afrimoney Commercial Manager, outlined key activities for the two months and encouraged all to brace up for them as they visit different places across the country.
