In line with their dream of reaching every town and city with quality service, National Petroleum (NP) Sierra Leone Limited has commissioned the Sanders Street Fuel Station.

The rehabilitated Sanders Street Fuel Station which has turned to a first class automaton and digitalised one was commissioned on the 31st December 2022. The commissioning which was graced by stakeholders, staff of NP-SL and the Press has placed NP at the edge of customer service and digitalisation.

NP SL General Manager, Saidu Mansaray in his remarks described the station as one that has been transformed with lot of space, storage and convenience.
He said they have turned the station as a testing class for any of their products.  “Self-servicing is our quest. It is our experimental station that will be bringing new ideas,” the GM said.

NP SL Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kobi Walker disclosed that they have created another outlet for Sierra Leoneans, predominantly government agents that are taking supply from NP.

He went on to say NP is bringing automaton and digitalisation into the system. He pointed out that NP believes with the Sanders Street station, they are open for market again in Freetown.

The rehabilitated Sanders Street Station paves the way for customers to purchase their fuel by using card and their record will be automated.

He thanked the contractor and the engineering team for making use of the small space to look bigger.

“We are number one not by chance but for a reason. We are Sierra Leoneans, we care for Sierra Leone and above all else, we care for Sierra Leoneans everywhere in this country. We understand the market and we care for the people,” he said.

He promised that NP is going to increase its breath and length in every town and city in Sierra Leone.

The rehabilitated station has been dedicated to the people of Sierra Leone.  He thanked the people of Sierra Leone because they believed in them and promised further to extend their customer service in different dimension.

While dedicating the Walpole Street Fuel Station to Okada and Kekeh riders for best treatment, the CEO emphasised that there will never be any form of fuel scarcity in any NP station.

She expressed joy for opening that station and also pleased with the decision to dedicate a whole station to Kekehs and Okadas.
