The National Advisory Committee (NAC) of the ruling All People Congress (APC) will meet today Monday 13 March at their party’s headquarter in Freetown.

Usual Credible Sources closed to NAC confirmed to SALONE TIMES that the meeting is very important for the approval of the running mate to Dr Samura Mathew Wilson Kmara who is the Presidential Aspirant of the party for the June 24 elections.

This was further confirmed by a NAC Member, Hon Abdul Kargbo on his twitter page.

“I have subscribed the oath of office of Non-Executive Member National Advisory Committee of APC. On MONDAY 13TH March NAC will approve the Running Mate and Deputy Leader. The National Leader and his entire executive are poised to lead the party to state house June 24,” Hon Kargbo tweeted.

According to SALONE TIMES Sources in the Party, the Leader of the Party in Parliament Hon Chernoh Maju Bah will be approved as the Running Mate to Dr Samura Kamara as the Party intends to run with the same team in 2018.

That the Leader last Monday 6th March informed both Diana Konomanyi and Mayor Yvonne Aki-Sawyer that he intends to run with Hon Chernoh Maju Bah for the June 24 general elections.

Despite that, grassroots supporters of the party believed that Chernoh Maju Bah is the right man for the position, pointing out that he is humble and that he being in the ticket will help give the APC an easy victory

Others believed that Chernoh Maju Bah cannot bring the regional balance in the ticket thereby making it difficult for the party to win the elections.
