By Allieu Bockarie  Members of the Commonwealth Games Association (CGA) in Sierra Leone were part of the CGAS members in Africa who took part in the Commonwealth Games Regional meeting. The meeting held in Livingstone Zambia started on the 13th April and ends on the 14th April 2023. The CGA Sierra Leone Delegation was headed by the CGA SL President Prince Sualley, and was with Joseph Nyande NOC CEO and Mariama Dalinda Rollins Kamara Vice president of the Sierra Leone Triathlon Association. Briefing the press Prince Sualley said the two days Commonwealth Regional Sports was a good experience with a focus on planning future events and development in the region. He told the media that the Commonwealth Games federation’s president Dame Loiuse Martin led the two days meeting. The meeting was also attended by CGF,s  management team. The meeting was attended by 19 Commonwealth Games Associations across Africa. The president of the NOC/CGA-Zambia was the host of the meeting. He said they discus around the forthcoming strategic plans which will be launched later in the year. There was also an update on the Commonwealth Youth Games provided by the organizing committee of Trinidad and Tobago 2023 Games. He ended up that the Commonwealth Games Federation has offered scholarship to Sierra Leone for a female leadership program. The above program he said will be attended by the Anna Williams the president of Gymnastic Association.
