Afrimoney in collaboration with Sierra Leone Commercial Tricycle Riders Union popularly known as Kekeh riders have signed a partnership that gears toward the growth of riders.

The partnership which was signed over the weekend is part of Afrimoney’s inclusive drive to reach subscribers and non-subscribers.

At Afrimoney Wilberforce Headquarters, Africell Head of Marketing and Communication, John Konteh in his welcome remarks said they are pleased with the partnership, and that they want to welcome the Union into the family.

He pointed out that they are going out to do this because of their commitment to their people.  

“We will continue to be here as a company and offers quality services for the people of Sierra Leone,” he said.

He encouraged his audience to continue using Afrimoney for quick, easy and reliable transaction.

Head of Africell Financial Services, Lawyer Hajaritu Turay spoke about the importance of using Afrimoney. 

She went on to say that this is not the time for someone to be walking with lots of money as it is not too safe but that with Afrimoney, it is easy and fast.

“This is the time we are going digital; you can walk with millions on your phone with no worries about theft,” Madam Turay said.

The President of the Tricycle Riders Union, Ibrahim Serrie expressed happiness and described the partnership as a blessing for them because of the growth they will be experiencing.

“We chose Afrimoney after several meetings to partner with them because we believe in them,” he said.

He called on all Kekeh Riders to respect the partnership they have signed with Afrimoney because it was derived from the meeting they held recently.

“We should respect it and ensure that any Kekeh executive owner should take SIM card under Afrimoney as transaction will go digital,” he said.  

He expressed thanks and appreciation to the Afrimoney management for accepting them and also expressed commitment to work with them.

“We will continue to partner and work with Afrimoney for the message to go down and ensure the list rider gets the Afrimoney,” he emphasised.

Afrimoney Director, Martison Obeng-Agyei said they are happy for the partnership. He continued that the benefits of the partnership will be enjoyed by every Kekeh Rider.

“This agreement is going to be a turning point for a very successful Kekeh Riders. The world is moving to a digital economy as we are embracing it, so the Kekeh Rider too will join us,” Martison said.

He pointed out that the partnership is for the riders to better their lives and that of the people of Sierra Leone as the relationship and signing of the MOU is to lure in a Kekeh Rider by getting them to use Afrimoney.
