The Cricket Sierra Leone Men’s Premier League ended on Saturday with a decisive match between Mid-West CC Vs Special Line CC at the POW Ovals Kingtom Freetown. Special Line came into the Premier League for the first after qualifying from the Division1 league as champions.

The captain of Special Line George Sesay an all-rounder won the man of the match award with 49 runs off 36 balls. George hit the boundary with 5 4s runs and over the boundary with 2 6s runs. The partnership scored 30 runs when Alhassan ran out of luck when he was caught with just 1 run off 7 balls. George remains in the crease and scored 25 runs off 18 balls before he was caught by Emmanuel Mansaray from Kasho’s bowl. John Bangura fought hard but was squeezed to score only 34 runs off 39 runs. Special Line won the champion trophy with a new of the first new-comer ever to win the league with unbeaten records.
