The Sierra Leone Paralympic Committee has secured GAPS Africa 2023 project which will enable athletes with disabilities and their coaches attend training camp that will be held in Stellenbosch, South Africa in September this year. The program is geared towards preparing Athletes for major Paralympic competitions and eventually the 2026 Commonwealth Games. The opportunity was created by the Commonwealth Games Federation of which the Sierra Leone Commonwealth Games Association and the Paralympic Committee filed in application.
