Former footballer and popular philanthropist, Abu Bakar Sillah aka Capay Ivorian Sillas on past Wednesday June 14 donated 25 training bibs to Real Republicans Football Club at the Kay-Tee field, Kingtom in Freetown.
According to Capay Ivorian Sillas, who is also embarking in his ‘Say No To Drugs’ campaign, said he was very pleased to complement the effort of the club’s Chairman Alhaji Umaru Bah in his quest to bring back the glory days of the Soccer Ambassadors.
“This is a way of not only complimenting Chairman Bah’s efforts to bring back the past glory to Republicans, but also to motivate the players and continuing spreading the message which is say no to drugs,” he said.
The former Freetown United player noted that this is not the first time he is extending his support to the club and it will not be the last, adding that he is a strong member of the team’s United Kingdom branch.
The Team’s Captain Henry Koroma on behalf of the Chairman Alhaji Umaru Bah, the executive, the fans and the players of Real Republicans FC expressed his thanks and appreciation to Sillah for his unflinching supports towards the development of the club.
