President Julius Maada Bio has called for utmost urgent dialogue is needed in the current political impasse in Sierra Leone.
President Bio made this statement at the well of Parliament last Thursday, August 3rd while addressing the First session of the Sixth Parliament of the Second Republic of Sierra Leone.
He pointed out that no political party obtained a two-thirds majority in the last elections, pointing out that for a true democracy to hold, there must be cohesion and unity and they must listen to the voice of the people.
According to the President, his government will focus on the big five in his 2023 People’s Manifesto and he is going to focus on ‘Feed’ Salone.
President Bio said that he wants to provide food security for a prosperous nation and foster cohesion for democracy, improving technology and transforming the youth’s employment scheme.
