The Central One Football Association (COFA) on Saturday 14th October 2023, boosted vulnerable individuals and religious institutions with the Sum of Le 10M (Ten Thousand NL).

The executive of the mini-league giant said their role is not just to develop and unite the youths from different communities in the name of football, but they are also committed to their social corporate responsibilities.

According to the Chairman of COFA Philipson Cline-Cole, these donations demonstrate their recognition of the pivotal role that mosques and churches play in providing spiritual guidance and support to individuals.

He went on that they are very happy to give back to the society especially the vulnerable people and religious institutions. Cline-Cole further stated that they are not only committed towards the development and unification of the different communities, but they are also giving back to the society,

He added that they are utilizing the proceeds from the gate takings and they ensure the various communities directly benefits from their football events,

He pointed out that transparent and accountable approach is crucial in gaining the trust and support of the community.

The Chairman stated that it is their hope that COFA’s actions inspire other organizations and associations to recognize their responsibilities towards society and take concrete steps to give back. Together, we can create a society where everyone has equal access to resources and opportunities,” the COFA Chairman affirmed.

One of the beneficiaries commended COFA for their generosity and dedication to the welfare of the community and called on other associations to emulate the generosity of COFA. The inter-community league will resume tomorrow after the one week break for the religious crusade at the Parade field with Kanitonians hosting Luawa FC. On Sunday Central community will host Cassada Farm community.
