At a Ground Breaking Event at their headquarters in Freetown, National Petroleum Sierra Limited (npsl) launched it card this past Friday 13th December 2024.
Chief Executive Officer of NP, Saidu Mansaray described the event as ground breaking, assuring their customers that the card they are launching are safe, secured and users’ friendly that will enhance a new experience of refuelling.
During this period, he noted that they careful assessed, listened to feedback and lead forward in how they serve their loyal customers, stressing that cards are efficient and secured
He noted that the cards are designed with the customers in mind and that they are a complete solution that explore convenience and control
“By adopting with the pass card, you are aligning yourself with global trend in a more convenient and secured way. Fuelling your vehicle should not be a complicated process and with the card, it will make it convenient,” he said
He maintained that this is the beginning of a new era in fuel industry as it revolutionizes how they interact with their customers and that the cards are not just a tool for today but a solution for the future
IT Officer Mohamed Bnaya explained the objectives of the cards which are to drive towards cashless solutions, to safeguard cash sales amid security breaches, for Flexibity/self-service, for easy availability/ accessibility of fuel nationwide, for 24hrs potential sale and for real time fuel balance
Explaining the benefits, Banya said that the customer will receive instant message, will get opportunity for reversal, real time alert and unlock card.
Sales Manager, Vandi Bockarie said that NP has once again demonstrated its leadership capacity, piloting the card in June this year with 15 Stations in Freetown, 4 in the Southern District Headquarters Towns of Pujehun, Bo, Moyamba Junction and Matru Jong while they in Kenema and Kono and 5 in the Northwest Region.
He revealed that they already have 2,108 users, 15 institutions, stressing that the cards increase accessibility and enhance coverage and promising to decentralize by region and by district.
