The President of the National Paralympic Committee has been officially appointed as the Head/Chairman Deputy and COO of West Africa Zone A with immediate effect.
In the letter, it was mentioned that his track record, excellent experience, and technical expertise in sports administration management, service delivery and related fields globally inspire his appointment.
Per his appointment, he is to oversee and coordinate the activities of the NPCs within the zone, facilitate the development and promotion of para-sports effective efficient administration and management of the NPCs within the zone as well as to liaise with the work closely with the IPC-AfPC Project Committee to ensure effective planning implementation and management of projects
The West Africa zone ‘A’ membership includes Cape Verde, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Senegal, and Sierra Leone.
The Africa Paralympic Committee expects his rich experience knowledge and expertise would be brought to bear on the development, increase participation in para-sports and improved performance.
