Bayan R. Decker an SS1 student from the Royal Becklyn Academy on Wednesday the 2rd May received his Le 50,000 from Sierra Leone biggest GSM operator, Africell.

At a colorful presentation at Africell Headquarters in Freetown Decker together with his family received his cash prize few weeks after the end of the Afrimoney Ramadan Di Hut Show past.

Africell Head of Events and Sponsorship, Nancy L. Toure congratulated winners of the Afrimoney Ramadan Di Hut Show. She disclosed that 10 subscribers won mifi, 5 won Le 50,000, Le 250,000 and208 won cash and a total of 192,500.  

Head of Africell Media, John Konteh spoke about the several encouragement they made for subscribers to be part of the show. He disclosed that lots of subscribers won different cash prizes, as 10 lucky winners in western area and many more across the country won grand prizes including fifty thousand new Leones winners.

He called on customers who had not won to play in subsequent africell programs.

The program was meant to engage people who fasted and those who did not fast during the month of Ramadan.

He said that the company has paid tax out of the amount the customer won adding that the company has help the government in revenue generation.

“As a company, we are committed to developing people and it is our responsibility to encourage our esteem customers.”

Mrs. Decker, mother the winner narrated how the winning came about. She said this is not the first time her family has won from Africell as her husband won some years ago.

“Most of the time his grandmother buys airtime for him which he normally use to get information and entertainment.

The family was overwhelmed with joy as the father and the rest of the family graced the presentation.

The winner. Bryan R. Decker said he was happy but decided to be calm in order to get things right.

He spoke about his ambition of becoming a lawyer as when one decided to do things on his own you can succeed than when people forced to do.

“I used my data to study and watch movies,” he said.
