Afrimoney has introduced Masada waste management company to the Pay Your Bill platform through afrimoney.
The service has made it easy for Masada customers to pay their waste collection bill by using afrimoney.
In a joint press conference Held at Africell Headquarters, Wilberforce, Freetown on Wednesday 1st March, 2023 the Corporate Sales Manager afrimoney, Alfred Joseph Lavalie, welcomed Masada to the afrimoney family. He said africell aligns itself to business by ensuring that they have a cashless society.
Lavalie pointed out that Masada is a household name and has been in operation since 2013.
He expressed joy to see such signing which he said is very significant for the success of both institutions.
Masada General Manager, Sahr Dauda Karku, explained the process one can go through to become one of their customer.
He said Masada has been taking care of waste management within the Freetown municipality since 2013.
He went on to say they usually give the customer order forms whenever a customer requests for service.
For a new customer, he added a bin is attached along with their services and once you pay, the bin will be deployed.
He disclosed further that they do post payment service when one completes the requirements but they would have loved to do the prepaid services but due to lack of technology then they are unable.
Karku pointed out that for them to avoid the challenges with finances and for Masada to be able to pay staff and do maintenance of vehicles among others, they thought it fit to introduce the afrimoney as a means of finding ways to address such challenges.
“We are actually looking forward to this partnership and we hope that this partnership will bring back our assurance of financial security to handle our needs”.
Afrimoney Director, Martison Obeng-Agyei spoke about the significance of integration with mobile money as one that is bridging the gap between demand and supply.
He assured Masada of 24 hours afrimoney service to them as such service will eliminated the delay of non-payment.
He stressed that with afrimoney customers has the capability pay in for their services 24 hours and at their convenience time and place because they have the power in their hands.
“We start today with the service, we will continue from here to ensure that we take Masada across the technology side,” he said.
He also thanked Masada for choosing afrimoney and promised their unwavering support.
Masada customers can dial *161# in their phone and select option 2 fin the bill payment option and select option 11 there Masada name is.
“We are committed 100% for this partnership. For the customer, we will go through our aim and giving you the best in mobile money service,” Obeng-Agyei assured.
