Musa played for both clubs before in the Sierra Leone premier league. Rangers talked to Ports Authority the present club of Musa for the loan deal.

The management of Ports is hoping that Musa will return back after the loan deal. Musa arrived in Bo few days ago and has started training with the team in preparation for the first leg against San Pedro FC at the Southern Arena in Bo on the 17th or 18th August 2024.

Musa will travel with the Rangers to Ivory Coast for the return leg on the 23rd, 24th or 25th August 2024. His stay will be extended, if Rangers qualify to the next preliminary stage of the qualifier.

Also, he will stay long with the club if they qualify to the group stage of the competition. Meanwhile, one of the club officials of Bo Rangers told SALONE TIMES Sports that if the possibility arises for them to sign Musa on permanent deal, they will do so.

He went on that Musa is the type of striker in Africa that clubs may love to sign and if the opportunity arises they have no other option but to grab it.

But for now, he is on loan for the competition to return back after the competition. But he said while with the team, if he is pleased to stay permanently with the club, they will welcome him back.

Meanwhile East End Lions have also started training in Freetown and they will travel to camp in Bo few days to their first match against ASC JARAAF from Senegal in August.

Sources also claimed that Lions too have beefed up their squad with some new loans and permanent signings. According to their assistant coach, Mohamed Fornah (Medo), they will do the official unveiling of the new and present players for the CAF Club Confederation Cup competition next week.
