After a successful Back to My Root Festival which was organized by the Office of the Entertainment and Investment Ambassador earlier this year at Tokeh Beach, the office has also announced the staging of a Meet the People Tour in five district head quarter towns.
The announcement was made by Ambassador Kao Denero via Facebook. He explained that in every city he visits an audition will be held the day before the event. After which five local talented artistes will be selected to perform on his show.
“Out of the five, one will be chosen from each city to be part of the Freetown festival hopefully by the end of April 2023. Get set the tour is coming to your city!” Amb. Explained.
The tour is set to commence on the 14th February (Valentine’s Day) 2023 in Hastings Freetown, 17th February in Bo City, 18th February in Kabala, 25th February in Kambia, Makeni City on the 3rd, of March 2023 and Koidu City on the 4th March 2023.
Although fans have called on the ambassador to include more cities, Amb Kao Denero has assured them of a visit to their respective towns at his next tour. He went on to call on his Black Leo fans to give their continued support to the Meet with the People Tour as this a journey for the promotion of the entertainment industry especially the upcoming artistes.
