In Benin, Journalists were given the opportunity to tour the facilities of ARISE IIP where they met with young people who are now working in the clothing, textile and cashew nut industries where many young people are gainfully employed.
The journalists also visited farmers whose lives have been transformed.

He said that they have a farm of over 100 people, noting that since he came in contact with ARISE, his life has changed
“I am able to take care of my family and send my children to school, “he noted.
He pointed out that the project has also changed a lot of things and that as a result, some farmers are able to build their own houses and have a family.
Similar industries were also seen in Gabon where the people also expressed same sentiments.
