Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara said that the ‘’One Nation Manifesto will end the suffering of the people of this nation.
He made this statement while launching his Manifesto for the June 24 Elections at Mamba Point, at Lagoonda Complex Hall in Freetown.
He said that the he will give a face lift to the country, noting that he is confident that the people will give them victory in June 24 so that they will make the country.
He further stated that the people have agreed to make Sierra Leone what they want; highlighting that in 2018, he lost the race to President Julius Maada Bio whose five years tenure has ended.
He described the new direction as misdirection, pointing out that Sierra Leone is his responsibility.
He said that he wants to complete his aspiration for the people of this nation that why he joined the race for the presidency.
He said that the people are demanding for a positive reactiveness, promising that he will fix the economy and addressing the food crisis.
He maintained that the One Nation Manifesto is designed for the people, describing the SLPP as novice.
He said that they in the APC are experts, calling on the people to vote for the party that will rebuild the nation.
Samura Kamara explained that the APC did it during their ten years tenure in terms of democracy, good governance, youth empowerment, electricity supply and infrastructure.
He said that in the One Nation Manifesto, they will have to look at poverty, noting that they want to continue to rebuild Sierra Leone.
The Manifesto has ten pillars-pillar one talks about national unity build, pillar two is about addressing economic deficiencies and the cost of living crisis at the structural level, pillar three is about job creation and pillar four is about accelerating investments in children, women and youths.
Pillar five talks about accelerating investments in physical and digital Infrastructure, pillar six is about strengthen decentralization and rural development while pillars seven and eight talk about enhancing democratic good governance and the rule of Law and protecting the environment and responding to climate change respectively.
Pillar nine talks about economic diplomacy and Pillar 10 is about fostering partnerships with the Diaspora for National development.
