As over 520 people receive free medical treatment… Sanctuary Praise Church Renamed Revival Power Assembly

In a spirit-filled celebration marked by thanksgiving, healing, and renewal, Sanctuary Praise Church, a ministry under Christ Revival Evangelistic Ministries (CREM), has officially been renamed Revival Power Assembly. The announcement was made during the Revival Power Convention 2025 Mega Thanksgiving Celebration, held on Sunday, 14th September, 2025, at the church headquarters, 2 Sawi Drive, Brookfields, Freetown.

The renaming, which Evangelist Victor Ajisafe described as both a declaration and a rededication, signals what church leaders say is a new season of revival, growth, and service for the ministry. The convention was held under the theme “The Oil of Power,” reflecting the church’s renewed focus on spiritual empowerment and community transformation.

Addressing the congregation, Evangelist Ajisafe described the Revival Power Assembly as a “Heaven-focused Evangelistic Ministry” dedicated to connecting people to the power of God. Its mission, he explained, is centered on bringing salvation, healing, deliverance, and breakthrough to individuals, families, and communities in Sierra Leone and beyond.

“We are called and commissioned to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the demonstration of the Holy Ghost and Power, bringing revival to the Body of Christ in Sierra Leone and to the nations,” Evangelist Ajisafe declared, drawing loud applause from worshippers.

One of the unique strengths of the ministry is its outreach beyond the church walls. Under CREM, the Revival Power Assembly continues to run evangelistic programs such as the Gospel Power Crusades, church planting initiatives, and the 24-hour Christian radio station, I AM FM 97.7, popularly referred to as God’s Airforce Base.

In addition, the ministry’s Free Medical Outreach has been touching lives across the country. Just a day before the renaming event, on Saturday, 13th September, 2025, the church organized a large-scale medical outreach that treated more than 520 people. Patients with various health conditions received free consultations and medications, thanks to the dedicated team of doctors and nurses affiliated with the church.

“We believe that the Gospel must not only be preached but also lived out through acts of compassion,” Ajisafe said, underscoring the importance of integrating faith with practical service.

Revival Power Assembly is not just growing spiritually but also geographically. The ministry has planted several branches across Sierra Leone, including:

  • Lungi Branch – Tulun By Sea Coach, Lungi
  • Devil Hole Branch – Sunderland, White Street, Devil Hole (East End)
  • Hamilton Branch – Hamilton Community Center, Hamilton Village
  • Baw Baw Branch – Timbo Lane, Baw Baw
  • Masalor Branch – Masalor Village, Off 6 Mile Crossing
  • 3 Mile Branch – Hospital Gate, Prince Alfred Road, Kenema

Beyond Sierra Leone, Revival Power Assembly also has an international presence with a branch in the United States of America.

The mega thanksgiving service itself was a colorful and spiritual event. Worshippers filled the headquarters in Brookfields with songs of praise, testimonies, and prayer. Evangelist Ajisafe described the event as a time of “divine visitation” when “the Oil of Power flowed mightily.”

As part of the celebration, new pastors and deacons were ordained, a move that Ajisafe said was necessary to strengthen the church’s mission and expand its capacity for kingdom service. The ordination was marked by prayers, anointing, and the laying on of hands, symbolizing a transfer of spiritual authority and responsibility.

For the members of Revival Power Assembly, the renaming is more than a change of identity; it is a sign of spiritual renewal and a recommitment to God’s calling. The ministry says it intends to build on its foundation of evangelism, community service, and global mission work.

As one member put it after the service: “This is not just a new name, it’s a new beginning. Revival Power Assembly will continue to be a place of hope, healing, and transformation.”

With branches spreading across Sierra Leone and beyond, and with a renewed sense of mission, the Revival Power Assembly is positioning itself as a growing force in the country’s Christian community — one that seeks to blend faith, compassion, and empowerment in its service to God and humanity.
