The Sierra Leone Women’s Premier League will end today with league leaders Mogbwemo Queens hosting Correctional Service in a must-win match at the Rutile field in Mogbwemo.
The league leaders are at the top of the table with 52 points in 21 matches played scoring 48 goals with 14 against. They will host Correctional Service who are in 7th position with 28 points. Mogbwemo Queens lead Kahunla Rangers with 3 points but with lesser goals than Kahunla Queens. Kahunla Queens have 73 goals in favor and 32 goals against.
In the final match today Kahunla Queens will host RAM-K in 5th position at the Kenema town field. Any result less than a victory today will stop the league leaders from lifting the Champion trophy if Kahunla wins today’s match. On the side of RAM-K, they need a10-0 win over Kahunla to promote them to 4th position. While a victory for Correctional Service will maintain them in the same position in the league table.
In the other matches today, Malema Queens will host VEM BUCK FC at the Kailahun town field, Albitaya Queens will host Koya Queens at the Kabala town field, Patricia Humu will host FC Kallon in Kambia, and in Makeni Mena Queens will engage Sierra Leone Police Women’s team at the Wusum field. At the relegation zone are VEM BUCK in 11th position with 7 points and Albitaya Queens at the bottom also with 7 points. According to the league table no matter what the results are today, they will still remain in the relegation zone.
