The Chairman of Bo Rangers, the newly crowned Leone Rock Premier Champions, Babadi Kamara celebrated the Eid-ul Adha at the Southern Arena with thousands of Muslim from Bo and different communities in Sierra Leone.
Eid-ul Adha is celebrated by Muslim all over the world together with those who went to Saudi Arabia for the hajj.
It is a day that Muslims slaughter Sheep, cows and donkeys base on the financial strength of the individual or the family.
They normally start the celebration with a day fasting on the eve of the pray day. On the day of the Eid-ul Adha they will all converge at the stadiums, some at parks while some will pray in their various Mosques.
In Bo, the Chairman of Bo Rangers Babadi who also doubles as the proprietor of the Southern Arena Stadium allow the Muslims to pray on the main bowl of the Arena.
Babadi also extended his goodwill gesture to the Muslims by providing food and drinks for thousands of worshipers who prayed at the Arena on that day.
In his address to the Muslims, Babadi who is also a fervent Muslim said the Eid-ul Adha was made for Muslims to do good and share with Muslim brothers and sisters.
In this case, he said the money he used to build the Southern Arena was given to him by God as such he said he is happy to allow the people to worship and praised God on the grounds.
Besides, he said the prayers they offer for the ground and the team will go a long way as they prepare to take part in the CAF Club Champions league.
He called on the Muslims to maintain peace and observe their five daily prayers always.
The presiding Imam of the Eid Al Adha was the Chief Justice of the Court of Appeal Justice Momohjah Stevens.
In his sermon, he emphasized on fostering love and unity amongst all individuals, advocating for national solidarity while strongly denouncing all forms of discrimination.
The Eid prayer at the Arena according to the worshipers was not only religious devotion but also reflect the spirit of togetherness, cultural diversity and natural respect that define the nation.
