During the Men’s Brotherhood Union annual thanksgiving service last Sunday at the Church Auditorium at Fergusson Street in Freetown, the National Overseer of Greater Refuge Temple, Bishop Sidney Graham dedicated and officially launched the Amazing Divine Grace Company.
Amazing Divine Grace Company owned by Jamiru Melchizedek Yankuba aka Medi Jay will primarily focus on outreach, minerals, industries and entertainment.
The Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Amazing Divine Grace Company, Jamiru Melchizedek Yankuba aka Medi Jay is a devoted and devout Christian currently serving as an Elder and Financial Secretary at Greater Refuge Temple, Sierra Leone chapter. He is also an Actor and Producer-Philosopher.
Jamiru born in Gemini in June 18 seeks to improve himself and those around him. He has encountered many challenging obstacles in his life but has responded in ways that demonstrate his overall character and commitment to his values. He has also worked for the United State Senate Federal Credit Union for almost 15 years and held several positions up to Management level. The path Jamiru has walked has giving him a thorough gross cultural understanding and firm grasp of the entertainment industry especially music and film.
Jamiru is vigorously working to promote and advance the film industry in Sierra Leone and has been one of the founding members of Sierra Gold Records (SGR) in the United States of America and its first Director of Finance.
Jamiru moved to Sierra Leone and is a founding member of lot of companies such as Mount Zion Images (MZI), Platinum Entertainment Group (PEG), Good Luck Entertainment Group (GLEG), and Universal Image, among others.
He disclosed that Amazing Divine Grace Company registered as a Company in Freetown, Sierra Leone with the objects of offering group counseling services as well as one-on, one mentoring to youth, kids and adults. To provide training, seminars and workshops, individualized coaching and support and numerous group activities to supplement the one-to-one support. Publishing books, banners, leaflets, flyers and magazines. Televangelism and evangelism. To promote prayer ministry-sales of religious literature and, prayer room. Church planting- thanksgiving, discipleship, crusades, convections, men women and children’s ministers. education programs -research, word of God, media and mobilization, event and award ceremonies.
He went on to say he wants to develop and promote public health in developing nations by educating and instructing the public on prevention of, and curative measures for health problems and by researching and documenting changes in the health of the community. To educate youths by providing leadership training programs and workshops. To empower local and rural communities in Sierra Leone. To inspire local residents to set up and take ownership of their development drive through consultations, trainings, advocacy and relevant networking.
He pointed out that he also wants to fight against gender discrimination and offer civic education to the poor to safeguard their rights in the society and to provide guidance and directions to the implementing agencies and to organize conferences, symposium, workshops, etc. on matters related to the organization.
