Mighty Blackpool will host FC Johansen in their next premier league match at the Angola field in Freetown. Blackpool narrowly lost to FC Kallon 1-0 in their last match played at the same field.

Blackpool scored in the above match but it was overruled by the referee for offside. The FC Johansen was first scheduled for Sunday but FC Kallon also have a match on that same day at the field.

Mighty Blackpool will host FC Johansen in their next premier league match at the Angola field in Freetown. Blackpool narrowly lost to FC Kallon 1-0 in their last match played at the same field.

Blackpool scored in the above match but it was overruled by the referee for offside. The FC Johansen was first scheduled for Sunday but FC Kallon also have a match on that same day at the field.

Mighty Blackpool are 4 points behind the league leaders Bo Rangers in the league after 9 matches played. In this case, Blackpool is going for nothing less than victory in Monday’s match to close the gap between them and the league leaders.

Though they lost against FC Kallon they outplayed FC Kallon in the match but could not score. To motivate the players ahead of the crunch encounter, Blackpool fans awarded their defender Santigie Koroma a Man of the Match awards certificate with a small token of cash.

The presentation was done at the team’s training ground KT Field, Kingtom, Freetown after the training on Wednesday.

Sources claimed that the fans went on to challenge the players that if they win the match against FC Johansen on Monday they will give the team a special winning bonus package apart from what the executive gave them for any match win.

FC Johansen are in 11th position in the league table with 11 points. A win for them on Monday will take them to the 5th or 6th position in the league table.

Meanwhile, on Saturday Wusum Stars will host the league leaders in Makeni, in Port Loko Bai Bureh Warriors will host East End Lions, Lamboi FC will host Luawa FC in Lungi and in Freetown Freetonian SLIFA FC will host Central Parade FC at the Attouga Mini Stadium.
