Leone Rock Premier League champions Bo Rangers and East End Lions are set to depart Sierra Leone tomorrow to honor their return leg matches in the CAF Club Champions League. Bo Rangers will face San Pedro FC in Ivory Coast on Sunday, 25th August, 2024, after a 1-1 draw in the first leg at Bo’s Southern Arena Stadium. Mohamed Lamin scored for Bo Rangers in the 48th minute, with San Pedro equalizing through Dosso Issouf in the 73rd minute. Both teams will enter Sunday’s match with high hopes of securing a win to progress to the group stage.
Meanwhile, East End Lions face a tougher challenge against Senegal’s ASC Jaraaf FC, following a 0-1 defeat at home in the first leg. ASC ASC Jaraaf will host Lions at the Stade Lat Dior in Thiès City, Senegal, this Sunday. Lions need an early goal and a solid defensive effort to secure a 2-0 win if they hope to overturn the deficit and qualify for the next round. ASC Jaraaf, satisfied with their away win, only need a draw or another victory to advance.
It is still unclear whether fans will travel to support the teams, though sources indicate that both Bo Rangers and East End Lions have promised significant rewards for players should they qualify for the group stage.
