FREETOWN, July 25 (SALONE TIMES) – Few days ago, it was all over the social media that a club in South Africa Kaizer Chief FC wants to sign contract with Bo Rangers talisman Musa Noah Kamara aka Musa Tombo.
Some stated that the deal has been stalled because the Executive Chairman Babadi Kamara is adamant to release Musa’s passport to travel.
Some even lambasted Musa by describing him as ungrateful, leaving Bo Rangers at the time they wanted him most.
Bo Rangers are the current Premier League champion in Sierra Leone and they are preparing to represent Sierra Leone in the CAF Club Champions league.
Musa emerged as the highest goals scorer in the just concluded premier league. In a press release from Rangers, they said they have no knowledge of any contract talk for any of their players from any club in the world.
The release went on that Musa is still their player until his contract ends. The release further stated that the social media saga is way of distracting them from the preparation they are embarking on for the club champion’s league.
Notwithstanding, the executive said they will not block any of their players if any club approach them through the laws of the game and meet with their demands.
The release went on to allay the fears of their fans and football fraternity that Musa is still a player of Bo Rangers FC and that his status has not changed. The executive further assured same that they will explore every legitimate means at their disposal to protect their interest in the said player including taking legal action if the need arises.
