The Central One Football Association Inter-Community league for the President Bio’s trophy is now in the knock-out stages. In the group of 16, they have more matches to end the group.

At this stage, any team that lost a match will go out of the competition. At this knock-out stages, the tempo of the competition is getting high every day.

Because of this, the organizers of the league have beefed up the security personals at the field. The organizers have also separated the location of the fans for all the remaining matches onto the final stage so that they will not be together.

Security measures were put in place with a strong warning that any defaulter will be ban from the league and will not take part in the next season league. 

Today’s match is a Central derby match between two archrivals Foulah Tong Vs Bambra Tong. On Tuesday, Mountain City will take on Kontoloh and the replay match between Summer City and the Hill Boys of the Leister Road community will be on Wednesday.

The winners of the remaining three matches will join the other winners for the quarter-final stage. So far onto Friday Kroo Town Rangers, Dove Cut, Calaba Tong, Central have all qualified to the quarter-final stage.

The results for the matches on Saturday and Sunday were not known until press time.
