Dasy and Jabbie aka D&J Physiotherapy Health Center a non-governmental organization situated at 13 Sumaila Street, Kenema District as part of their Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) donated health facilities to the people of Lower Bambara Chiefdom in order to improve their lives.
The Chief Executive Officer of D&J, Dr. Sheku Bah Jabbie explained the importance of the items and called on stakeholders and community leaders to own the project since the project has a lot of benefits for the chiefdom and its people.
He said the D&J Health Center gave free psycho and physical exercises including nutrition and offered free treatment to pastors, imams, disabled, widows and among others and promised to extend it in other parts of the country.
He said that they have distributed books to schools and colleges and have constructed bow holes for drinking water, and have administered free medical treatment to over 2000 patients with different physical health conditions.
Dr. Jabbie noted that the D&J Physiotherapy Health Center treat patients with different health problems.
Dr. Sheku Bah Jabbie said that after the construction of the Ultramodern Physiotherapy Centre in Kenema, it will be able to accommodate hundreds of patients and could be able to serve the three districts and beyond.
The Resident Minister in the Eastern, Dr Jabby, Fokai Demby disclosed that they are trying to get an office space for D&J in Daru, Kpendembu and Kailahun Town and that they are all ready to work with D&J.
He concluded by assuring them of his support at all times.
