Emmanuel TV Partner Sierra Leone has donated School Items worth over One Hundred and Fifty Million Leones to students. The event took place on August 2nd at the West African Methodist Collegiate Secondary School, Willington Road.
Speaking to the press, the founder and coordinator of Emmanuel TV Sierra Leone Mrs Kadijatu Thomas said they organized the event in order to continue the good work of their Father in the Lord Prophet T B Joshua. ‘Our father in the lord taught us to always help the less privileged and the needy’, she said. We donated school bags, geometry sets, erasers, and pens among other things.
She continued that they did the donation on behalf on their mother Pastor Mrs. Evelyn TB Joshua. She furthered that they had been doing that for the past five years. ‘Our father taught us to care for the less privileged and the needy in society,’ she added. She urged parents to teach their children to be kind to others in their communities adding that love lead in every aspect of our live. Theme of the program was “win today, win tomorrow and win forever”.
In an interview, Abdul Ibrahim Sama said that Emmanuel TV Partner Sierra Leone decided to come together give back to society in order to continue the legacy or dream of their father in the lord Prophet TB Joshua in changing lives, changing Nations and changing the word.
He said that they have been helping children, widows, elderly school going pupils in different communities in Sierra Leone.
He expressed thanks and appreciations to Pastor Mrs. Evelyn T B Joshua noting that they feel inspired by the generosity to mankind. He thanked Pastor Mrs. Evelyn TB Joshua for her relentless effort in changing lives, changing nations and changing world. He also expressed appreciation to Mrs. Kadijah Thomas for bringing them together to emulate the good legacy of Pastor TB Joshua. He mentioned the second Corinthians chapter 6: 6-8 which says there is great pleasure in giving, noting that this is in line with their aspirations. He further mentioned that Prophet TB Joshua taught them that giving shapes our destiny and God wants us to care for the poor and the needy. ‘We have to engage in great sacrifices to give,’ he said.
