FREETOWN, Mar. 04 (SALONE TIMES) – The Management of FC Johansen on Monday 23rd February 2022 unveiled Umbro kits and their new coach at the Orange Mobile office IMMATS in Freetown.
According to the management of FC Johansen they have added to their value by signing a 3 years contract with Umbro Kits and the Orange Mobile Company in Sierra Leone. In this case the founder and owner of the club Isha Johansen said this goes with their Motto Chasing The Dream. FC Johansen is among the four clubs that the Orange Mobile Company SL has agreed to sponsor with Le1bn cash package. This she said will help the club to develop in several aspects of the game. She went on that they were at the Mobile Company to unveil their new kits as already Orange is part of Johansen. Isha said it was a big boost for them to get kits sponsorship from Umbro which is a well-recognized company in the world. In all three different types of jerseys (Home and Away) were unveiled with the logo of Orange Mobile Company on them. Isha pronounced that the jerseys were now out for sale to their supporters and sympathizers of the club. She said players will get 20% of the sale for any jerseys with the name of players at the back. In this case she called on the players to inform their supporters about the jerseys with their names on it. Buying the players jerseys, she said will bring income into the club and will boost the welfare of the players. Isha also appealed to the players to up their games as their good performance will encourage more sponsors to come on board. The club also unveiled their new players and their new head coach Sillah who is a former East End Lions coach and the new players which they signed for the league. Also present at the unveiling were GT Bank SL a sponsor, former Johansen players, John Keister former Johansen coach, Chris Kamara SLFA Secretary General and several football members.
