FREETOWN – Sierra Leone prestigious seafront hotel, Golden Tulip Essential Kimbima Hotel has been awarded Hotel of the year by Diaspora Focus National Development Award 2019.
The award which was held past Saturday by Diaspora Focus placed Golden Tulip Essential Kimbima as one of the recipients of awards and honours – specifically for their hospitality, tremendous and exceptional contribution and support to the tourism sectors.
Golden Tulip Sales and Marketing Manager Mrs. Pamella Ruth Kaikai, thanked the organizers while receiving the award and assured them of their continued support to the nation-building of Sierra Leone tourism sector among other sectors in the country.
She expressed happiness for the award and said it meant that they had been appreciated for their effective and quality service they were offering.
She pointed out that Golden Tulip is doing a job as hospitality partners through that they should do more and not relent.
“The award is like a motivation because we know that people are watching us and they are also grading us among others. They expect much from us. We need to go up again, get effective and efficient service in all aspect.”
She continued to say they will be more aggressive in the positive way to do more in all aspect as that is another challenge because they want the award to stay with them constantly that is why they are not going to relax.
She disclosed that this is not the first award the hotel have won but several awards which shows their continuous improvement for their guests.
“This shows that we are growing, consistent and also proving that we have come to stay. Golden Tulip is proud to have earned another worthy award for our continuous contributions, hard work and achievements.”
Mrs. Kaikai expressed love and appreciation to their customers whom she said are the reasons why they are in operation.
She encourage them as well as new customers to patronize with in the hotel for their conferences, weddings, seminal, workshops, dinners and hotel reservation for room as their door is always opened.
