The management of HADA FC Academy in Sierra Leone over the weekend welcomed the owner and the CEO of the club Louis Toumbas and presented trophies and medals they have won to him. His first visit ever was geared to come to Sierra Leone to see the developmental work the club has done. All along he has been sponsoring the club while away and watching their activities through video clips. The management of the club and the parents of the young boys confessed that his goodwill to the academy has helped to take out several children from the street and prevented them from taking drugs. This they said has not only helped the players but also their parents who accepted that it is a big relief to them. Several speakers at the occasion appealed to the parents to encourage their children to not only play football but to also back it up with education and be God fearing children. The CEO Louis told the young boys to honor their parents if they want their days to be longer with blessing. He went on that discipline is very paramount in any sport. He informed the gathering that apart from the one club house they already have he is planning to build a mini stadium for the academy. At the end the CEO and the football authorities who were present decorated the U-15 and the U-17 with the gold medals which they won in the local youth competitions. Trophies won in local and international competitions were display on the high table which they later snap in group photos. The Team Manager King David Kargbo expressed appreciation for the relentless effort and commended the parents for their full support in the program.
