FREETOWN – The African Young Voices (AYV) together with Sierra Leone’s leading Telecommunication Company Africell unveiled the first set of sponsor for Housemates Salone 2020.
The unveiling took place at headquarters of AYV in Freetown.
In his remarks, AYV Director of Communications, Samuel Wise Bangura said the Housemate Salone show was not only going to be the best reality TV program in the country but was also going to be the face of Edutainment in the country.
He mentioned that AYV Media Empire is the new definition for broadcasting and entertainment in the country and when it comes to selling or rebranding Sierra Leone as a nation, there is only one media house that can fit in which is AYV. He added that they had chosen the top fifty two but only twenty people will make it to the house.
AYV General Manager, Ezekiel D. Lakkoh, expressed thanks and appreciation to their partners for supporting the program in order for them to deliver quality service to the public.
He reflected on the 2018 housemate Season 1, 2019 ‘Be A Star’ show and now 2020 they will be hosting Season 2 of Housemate Salone which is a reality TV show.
He noted that after Housemate Salone Season 1, they announced that in October 2020 they will be organizing Housemate Salone season 2.
Lakkoh mentioned that AYV is consistent in what they do and whatever utterances they make must come to pass. “The only thing that can stop that is God,’ he boasted.
He explained that they were serious about the show and they were going to give out the best to the public.
Sho Cole Crips International said they have set the pace for standard reality TV show and what people are seeing during international show is what they are going to do deliver to Sierra Leoneans.
He noted that Crips International is not going to give out lesser quality but the best and with quality standards.
He noted that Sierra Leoneans are going to see the transformation of Sierra Leonean TV show and they going to see the level at which Sierra Leone has grown in producing reality TV show and they are going to give in their best.
The General Manager Rokel Commercial Bank, Ekundayo Gilpin said that they were really elated about the work that AYV was doing and there is a common understanding. He noted that no one likes to associate himself with failure but everyone will also associate themselves with success.
He noted that they were looking up to more institutions to support the work AYV was doing.
He explained that they will continue to support the process of indigenous entities and will support the vision and the approach.
He added that AYV has a lot of potential and has motivated people in diverse ways. He ended up by praying that the show becomes a success in Sierra Leone and the world at large.
