Kaitongi disqualified

Few months back members of the Sierra Leone Table Tennis Association elected a new executive body to run the affairs of the association for 4 years at Brookfields in Freetown.

Kaitongi went for the presidential position but he was disqualified to contest for the position. According to source, Kaitongi was onto few days to the election the president of the Sierra Leone Veteran Table Tennis Association.

The sources claimed that he later resigned from the position but below the days required in the constitution for someone to resign a position in another sports to contest for positions in the SLTTA election.

But few weeks after the election he took the association to court for disfranchising his right to vote and to be voted for.

According to him, the court has put injunction on the executive to stop work until after the full investigation.
