Presenting the newly elected executive to the executive of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) at the NOC Headquarter, Howe Street in Freetown, NOC President Dr. Patrick Coker warned the President of Taekwondo Association Oness Obayoumi Johnson not run the association alone.
The delegates of the association few weeks back reelected Oness Obayoumi Johnson as President plus eight other executive members to run the affairs of Taekwondo for five years.
Receiving the executive members, the NOC President, Dr. Patrick Coker said they should work as a team and that he did not want to see a scenario wherein the president do all the work and he alone do all the travelling.
He told them that the NOC office is always open and that hence he is around, he will talk to anyone of the executive but not the athletes.
Among the nine executive members are two women- one elected as the Vice President and the other as Treasurer.
