FREETOWN, May 1st (232news.com) – Parliamentary Oversight Committee of NGOs and NACSA headed by Dr. Roland Foday Kargbo has said that the committee has listened to complaint made to them by SLaDA concerning an unlawful termination of contract by CARE, Sierra Leone.

The Committee said that CARE accused SLaDA of Corruption but they resolved that CARE must pay all damages to SLaDA.

That the Committee didn’t find any case of corruption made by CARE against SLaDA and that all assets belonging to SLaDA must be documented returned.

That CARE should seek advised from government on all donor funds and that they should pay the salaries of all staff of SLaDA since the termination of the Contract on December 16th 2021 because SLaDA solicited funds from other donor partners.

That they should expedite all audit process and address the remaining issues within 30 days or they would summon both parties.
