FREETOWN, Jan. 27 (232news.com) – The New Year’s Fellowship and General Meeting of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Sierra Leone (PFSL) turned out to be a success due to the massive turnout of members and invited guests.
The fellowship took place at the Bethel Temple International Ministries, Tower Hill, Freetown, on Tuesday 11th January 2022 with the Theme: “Times of Refreshing”.
The President of PFSL and General Overseer of Living Word of Faith Outreach Ministries International, Bishop Akintayo Sam-Jolly made a presentation on what is ahead of them in 2022.
He celebrated staff, members who had been paying their dues and executive members who made work successful for the Fellowship in the past year while looking forward for more participation this year.
The PFSL President emphasised that their seven-pillar vision which includes stability, self-regulation, and diaspora remains in place and focus.
He also spoke about dividing the Northern region into two as in the current stand of the country and a full mandate will be given to the constitutional review committee in February.
The disclosed that PFSL will start it provincial impact conferences next month as part of their plans of taking PFSL to the people.
Bishop Sam-Jolly expressed determinination to be prayerful in seeking God to know the approach they should take in relation to the challenges the churches in the East are facing.
The representative of the Chief of Defence Staff, Brigadier C.F. Marah saluted the PFSL President for his selfless commitment to His Creator the Father and humanity.
Head of Sierra Leone Police Chaplain, Superintendent Daniel A. Sesay spoke about the supernatural policing they have introduced. He said the SLP is part of PFSL.
