FREETOWN, May 14 (SALONE TIMES) –The Sierra Police Cricket Club is presently leading the Sierra Leone Cricket Association (SLCA) Premier League with an unbeaten record. As defending champions, Police have played 4 matches, winning all four with 8 points and a net run rate of 2.581 runs at the top of the of the league table. In second position is Mid-West CC who have played 4 matches won 2 and lost 2 with 4 points and a net run rate of 0.693. In third position is Gujarat CC also with 4 points in 4 matches played but with a net run rate of 0.317. In 4th position is Asian PRO CC with 2 points in 4 matches played. They have played 4 matches win 1 match and loss 3 matches and in 5th position is Copper Safe CC also with 2 points in 4 matches played. The league continue on Saturday with the league leaders Police battling with Gujarat CC and on Sunday 7th May Asian PRO face Mid-West in their return leg. But the results of the two matches were not known onto press time.
