FREETOWN, Sep 28 (SALONE TIMES) –Last Thursday 23 September, a day before the match between Mighty Blackpool and Bo Rangers the newly appointed Chairman of Blackpool Rodney Michael visited their training ground and donated training equipment to the team. The training equipment was provided by the Edmond Michael foundation in which Rodney is also part. In his statement he told the technical team that the equipment will now help them doing some drillings during training.

To the players, he said any player who wants his future football career to be brighter, Blackpool is the team to join. He went on that he has come to uplift the team so that they will become title contenders and not just partakers in the league.

Sources close to Blackpool stated that beside the donation when Rodney took over the team, he reviewed the salaries of the players and the technical team with bonuses for any match they win or draw.

The team went with all these motivations to face the big money spenders Bo Rangers FC who have most of the big name players in the country on Friday.

Before the match on paper, Bo Rangers were the favorite to win the match. Beside the Edmond Michael Foundation also did the same donation to Bo Rangers in Bo before the match on Friday.

But the statistic of the match states that Blackpool dominates in possession with more balls on target than Bo Rangers. Due to the pressure piled on the Rangers their captain Morie was red carded few minutes to the end of the match.

In another development, the management of Blackpool is now planning to sign more good players to beef up the squad when the transfer window opens.
