FREETOWN – In his declaration statement Rodney Michael told staff of the Sierra Leone Football Association that he is not taking over football to witch-hunt anyone of them.
He went on that he is ready to work with the least person in the football family including Isha and the entire executive members.
In this case, he said they need everyone to be part of the football development in Sierra Leone.
To buttress what he said, the Chairman of the SLFA membership forum Idrisa Mago Tarawally warned them all to deceit from the ongoing football politics.
He went on that they should not allow anyone to use them to humiliate any member as the present regime may change or they will continue if they win the next election.
He went on that membership of the SLFA Forum has been called all sort of names by the present SLFA executive and some of the staff with the threat of taking them to court.
This, he said is not good for the development of the game. He went on that on several occasions the executive and some of these staffs have said they do not recognize them as members of the FA.
Mago told the gathering that they are waiting for the court case which he said they will answer to appropriately.
He appealed to all the football stakeholders to vote Rodney as the next SLFA President whom he said is the most decorated and celebrated football philanthropist and fittest for the position in Sierra Leone.
Rodney, he said has all it takes that will make football develop. He ended up emphasizing that the staff are not politicians and they should desist from the football politics.
