The Sierra Leone Premier League continues on Wednesday with five matches played at five different venues. Among the five matches played, the league leaders Bo Rangers were forced to a goalless draw by the newcomers Luawa FC at the Kailahun town field. This is the second time in a row the league leaders have drawn a league match after drawing their last match played, 1-1 at home against Old Edwardians FC. The above results brought a shake-up in the league table as despite East End Lions drew against FCFC on Wednesday now close the gap between them and the leaders to 10 points. Blackpool retook the third position after defeating Freetonian SLIFA FC 2-1 as FC Kallon lost to Diamond Stars away and dropped to 4th position. Blackpool have now closed the gap between them and Lions in second to 2 points.

In the other matches played, Kamboi Eagles lost to the reformed Old Edwardians at home by 2-1. The defeat led the management of the club to Part Company with their head coach. Diamond Stars defeated FC Kallon 2-0 at home in Kono. In Port Loko Bai Bureh Warriors FC defeated FC Johansen 1-0. Also in the league table Wusum Stars who ended the first rounds at the bottom of the league table have now rise to the 12th position with 28 points in 26 matches played. Kamboi Eagles are 1 point down the relegation zone while Wilberforce Strikers have sunk down to the bottom of the league table.
